Sizzling Minced Beef Steak Recipe by Dapur Sinolin

For the steak:

  • Sinolin cooking oil
  • 500 grams of beef, minced
  • 2 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp of wheat flour
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • nutmeg powder
  • pepper

For Sauce:

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp of Migasan margarine
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 400 ml of water
  • 30 gram of Peas
  • 2 tbsp of tomato sauce
  • Salt, pepper, and sugar


  1. We begin by mixing all the ingredients required to make the steak in a mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients well and thoroughly. We want the minced meat to absorb the flavours of the ingredients. With your hand, press firmly for a couple of minutes to compact the beef into a patty.
  2. Heat up your frying pan and add some Sinolin cooking oil onto the pan. Fry the patty until both sides of the patty becomes cooked and give a nice glow. Drain the oil from the pan and let stand.
  3. Heat up your pan, and saute fry your onions until fragrant. Then, add the chopped tomatoes. Let the heat do the work – stir well. Add some water and ketchup to prevent overly drying the condiments. Cook for a few more minutes until you get a nice, thick delicious paste. Add some canned peas into the pan for 1-2 minutes. Remove pan from heat and let stand.
  4. Place your beef steak on a plate. Add the special sauce on the side. Add some salt and pepper to enrich the flavours.
  5. Your beef steak is now ready to be served!
