Lemon Rice with Anchovy By Dapur Sinolin

  • 2 tbsp of Sinolin Cooking oil
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 tsp of curry leaves
  • ½  tsp of turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp of coriander



  1. In a bowl, add one cup of rice, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and 600 ml water, mix well and soak for 1 hour
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves, coriander powder, cumin and salt, then mix well. Add the rice that had been washed. Followed by 600 ml of water then stir well. Cover the pan and boil for 10 minutes. After boiled, add lime juice, red chili, mix well. Then, cover again and cook for 30 minutes ( add more water if the rice is not tender enough )
  3. Turn off the heat, serve the lemon rice and sprinkle some anchovies and peanuts.
