Japanese Matcha Cake by Dapur Sinolin

Prep time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 60 minutes
Ingredient:
250 grams of melt margarine Migasan
350 grams of wheat flour
5 tbsp baking powder
5 grams matcha powder
200 grams of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs, 3 egg yolks
Topping:
200 grams of powdered sugar
3 grams of matcha powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
150 ml of milk
Direction:
- In a mixing bowl, add sugar and egg yolk, mix for 10 minutes or until fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, melted butter, matcha powder and vanilla extra, continue mixing until well combined.
- In a cake pan, spread a thin layer of margarine Migasan on the side of tray and pour the dough evenly.
- Bake at 1800 C for 50-55 minutes.
- Cool down the pan for 20 minutes before releasing the cake.
- To make a topping:
Combine all topping ingredients and mix well until thickened, pour on the cake. Serve and enjoy.
