Japanese Matcha Cake by Dapur Sinolin

Prep time: 30 minutes

Cooking time: 60 minutes

 

Ingredient:

250 grams of melt margarine Migasan

350 grams of wheat flour

5 tbsp baking powder

5 grams matcha powder

200 grams of powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 eggs, 3 egg yolks

 

Topping:

200 grams of powdered sugar

3 grams of matcha powder

½ tsp vanilla extract

150 ml of milk

 

Direction:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add sugar and egg yolk, mix for 10 minutes or until fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, melted butter, matcha powder and vanilla extra, continue mixing until well combined.
  2. In a cake pan, spread a thin layer of margarine Migasan on the side of tray and pour the dough evenly.
  3. Bake at 1800 C for 50-55 minutes.
  4. Cool down the pan for 20 minutes before releasing the cake.
  5. To make a topping:

Combine all topping ingredients and mix well until thickened, pour on the cake. Serve and enjoy.
