Beef & quince stew By Dapur Sinolin
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 60 minutes
Ingredient:
- 20 ml of Sinolin cooking oil
- onion, thickly sliced
- 10 small red onions
- cloves of garlic
- quinces, thickly sliced
- Lemon juice from 1 lemon
- 500 grams of quality beef, cut into 3cm
- 1 cup of tomato juice
- ½ tbsp of cinnamon
- 2-3 bay leaves
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 100 ml of water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sugar
Direction:
- Peel and split the two onions, then slice the garlic. Peel, core and slice quinces, put in a bowl of cold water with a squeeze of lemon juice.
- Heat the Sinolin cooking oil over medium heat in a medium pan and saute red onion, garlic and onions for 5 to 7 minutes or until softened.
- Add beef, dried bay leaves, chili sauce, tomato juice, oregano powder, garlic powder, cinnamon powder, salt, sugar, wheat flour and stir well for a few minutes.
- Add lemon juice, stir in water and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes or until the meat is tender. You can add more water as you wish if the meat is not tender enough.
- Add the quince and stir it carefully, then cook for 10 minutes or until the meat is tender and the sauce thickens, stirs for 8 to 10 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
