Hainan Chicken Recipe by Dapur Sinolin

Ingredients
• Chicken part of thigh, split 2 – 1/2 tail
• Lime juice – 1 tsp
• Water – 800 ml
• Onions, cut into large cubes – 1 piece
• Garlic – 3 cloves
• Leek, tie – 1 stick
• Celery, tie – 1 stalk
• Ginger, spread – 1 cm
• Sesame oil – 1 tsp
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Pepper – 1/4 tsp
• Rice:
• Rice – 150 grams
• Broth water, chicken stew – 225 ml
• Ginger, spread – 1 cm
• Sesame oil – 1/4 tsp
Sauce:
• Broth water, chicken stew results – 3 tablespoons
• Salty soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
• Sesame oil – 1/2 tsp
• Red cayenne pepper, sliced – 1 fruit
• Green cayenne pepper, sliced – 5 pieces
Step
1. Wash the chicken then coat it with lime juice. Massage for a while then rinse again with water.
2. Enter all ingredients to make hainan chicken into the pan. Cook for 45 minutes until the chicken stock comes out. Turn off the fire. Strain the cald water and set aside to cook rice, make sauce, and as a companion soup when serving. Remove, drain, and cut the chicken.
3. Rice: Wash the rice. Add all ingredients to make rice into the rice cooker and cook rice as usual until cooked.
4. Sauce: Mix all sauce ingredients together. Stir well.
5. Arrange the rice and chicken on the plate. Serve with sauce and broth. Ready to be served.
Tips
If you do not like boiled chicken, hainan chicken can be smeared again with sesame oil then bake for a while until browned.
