Beef Crispy Flour Tacos By Dapur Sinolin

  • 500 ml of Sinolin cooking oil
  • 8 yellow corn tortillas
  • 1/2 sweet onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 pound of lean beef
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon of chili pepper
  • 1/3 cup of low-sodium beef broth
  • 6 ounces of monterey jack cheese, fresh grated
  • Lime slices


  • 1/2 red onion, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of fresh chopped coriander
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • a pinch of salt and pepper


  1. Heat a large pan over medium heat and add enough oil. add one tortilla to the oil. Take a brace and press it in the middle of the tortilla, make a fold, and hold it there for 20 to 30 seconds, until the tortilla expands. Lift and place it on a paper napkin to dry – and repeat!
  2. Add the onion and garlic, mix well and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add beef, crush with a large wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 6 to 8 minutes. In a small bowl, mix chili, cumin, paprika, onion powder, chili, salt and pepper. Add to beef and mix well, then stir the broth. Stir to mix well. Cover and cook over low heat until the tortillas are finished.
