Loaded Cheesy Mashed Potato Balls by Dapur Sinolin

Crunchy golden-brown deliciousness on the outside, loaded mashed potato goodness on the inside.

Cooking Time: 45 minutes


  • 300 ml of Sinolin cooking oil
  • 4 steamed potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlics, grated
  • ½ cup chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 100 grams of cheddar cheese, grated
  • 6 pieces of smoked beef
  • 100 gr bread crumbs

For wrapping:

  • 100 gr bread crumbs


  1. Peel the potatoes from the skin and cut them into pieces. Rinse with running water and boil the potatoes until soft.
  2. Heat the Sinolin Cooking oil in a medium pan with low heat, fry the beef pieces for 3 minutes.
  3. When the potatoes are cooked, in a large bowl, crush the potatoes with a fork until soft, add the smoked meat, garlics, chives, salt, sugar, eggs, cheese and stir until all the ingredients are mixed.
  4. Add milk, bread crumbs and stir again.
  5. Take one tablespoon and roll it in bread crumb, do it until all the dough runs out. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  6. Heat the oil in a medium pan, after the oil is hot enough, slowly put the potato ball into the oil and fry until golden. Remove and drain on tissue to reduce excess oil.
