Middle Eastern Chicken & Eggplant Kebabs with Yogurt by Dapur Sinolin

A combination of spices that are very appetizing that you can make yourself and enjoy with your favorite people.

Ingredients :

  • 500 gr chicken breast
  • 200 gr sausages
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 eggplant
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • Yogurt

Seasoning for Marination :

  • 1 tablespoon of Sinolin cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Cut the chicken breast into a 1-inch cube, place the chicken in a bowl. Mix all the marinade and stir it all together. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, and stir the chicken around it to coat it evenly, enter the sausage and stir again. Cover and cool for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Prepare a pan to bake, place the chicken and vegetable pieces on a metal or wood skewer. If you use a wooden skewer, soak it in cold water for 15-20 minutes before using it so they don’t burn on the grill.
  3. Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Place chicken and vegetable on the grill and let them cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip kebab every 2-3 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the eggplant is soft, about 10-15 minutes in total. If the chicken is cooked faster than the eggplant, place the kebab in the indirect hot location on your grill or turn the grill down to medium heat. Remove the kebab and lid to keep warm.
  4. Serve skewers with youghurt drizzle and lemon slices on the side.

  • 1 egg
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 100 grams of cheddar cheese, grated
  • 6 pieces of smoked beef
  • 100 gr bread crumbs

For wrapping:

  • 100 gr bread crumbs

DIRECTION:

  1. Peel the potatoes from the skin and cut them into pieces. Rinse with running water and boil the potatoes until soft.
  2. Heat the Sinolin Cooking oil in a medium pan with low heat, fry the beef pieces for 3 minutes.
  3. When the potatoes are cooked, in a large bowl, crush the potatoes with a fork until soft, add the smoked meat, garlics, chives, salt, sugar, eggs, cheese and stir until all the ingredients are mixed.
  4. Add milk, bread crumbs and stir again.
  5. Take one tablespoon and roll it in bread crumb, do it until all the dough runs out. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  6. Heat the oil in a medium pan, after the oil is hot enough, slowly put the potato ball into the oil and fry until golden. Remove and drain on tissue to reduce excess oil.

Dutch Soup by Dapur Sinolin


Indonesian version of Dutch Soup by using authentic Indonesian ingredients. still delicious and warm the atmosphere.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup beef flavored broth
  • 500 gr boneless grilled beef, cut into 2- to 3-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Sinolin Cooking oil
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced (2 cups)
  • 5 unpeeled baby red potatoes (1 1/2 lb)
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh Italian  parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves

Seasoning :

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 sendok teh bubuk ketumbar

Steps :

  1. In a large bowl, mix tomato sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar. Stir in broth; set aside.
  2. Rub beef with grill seasoning and salt. In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil over medium-high heat. Cook beef in oil 2 to 3 minutes on four sides or until browned. Transfer beef to plate. Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil, then add onion. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until softened. Add potatoes, carrots and beef.
  3. Pour broth mixture over the beef mixture. Heat to boiling. reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender, Cook 8 to 12 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens.
  4. Serve beef with potatoes, carrots and sauce. Top with parsley and thyme.
